Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Toilet: Ek Prem Katha trailer has won hearts of one and all. The film that deals with the issue of open defecation and showcases the story of a man who can go to any extent to get a toilet built in his own house so that his wife does not have to defecate in the open. From the trailer it is understandable that Bhumi Pednekar’s character is harassed while defecating in the open and leaves her in-laws house! Akshay’s character then begins his struggle to get a bathroom built in the house.

This 19 year old ran away from her in-laws house two days after her marriage, because she couldnot defecate in the open. She gave rise to a revolution not just in her small village in UP, but in many parts of the nation. She came back to her in-laws house once the toilet was built.
