Kalki Koechlin's 'The Printing Machine' Will Come Back To Haunt You

Kalki Koechlin's 'The Printing Machine' Will Come Back To Haunt You

Kalki Koechlin has been vocal about issues like sexism, gender inequality, discrimination and she has spoken extensively about these things. In 2014 at the India Today Conclave, she spoke about the existence of women in the society and how women have been sidelined from everything.

In a five minute short video, Kalki narrates a poem which is titled 'The Printing Machine'. This is a part of a series called Unblushed and the poem is written by the actress herself. The performance is spectacular and Kalki is talking about the growing crime against women in the country and concentrates on the reckless and sensational behaviour of media. Not just that, it gives us a contemporary world reality check. So, she rightly says, "it's midnight Cinderella. It's 10'clock, you dirty fella."

The beautifully crafted poem will definitely come to haunt you back.
