    CONFIRMED: Irrfan Khan Will be Paired Opposite This Talented Actress

    Two of the finest actors in the country -- Kangana Ranaut and Irrfan Khan -- are all-set to work together.

    Kangna Ranaut and Irrfan Khan will star in a unique love story tentatively titled Divine Lovers. The actors will play a married couple in the film that would be directed by The Lunchbox director Ritesh Batra.

    The Lunchbox, which won acclaim the world over, is one of the finest films Bollywood has produced in recent times. And now the reports say Ritesh Batra's forthcoming directorial is about a unique couple who are are affected by a life-altering incident that happened a few years ago. It is also reported that the film will use an international crew as the director is already working on an international project.

    The film which first caught attention when rumours of Kangna's exit from the film started to emerge. It was also during that time when Irrfan Khan made comments about the actress. He said," “I only don’t know that ki mai kar paaunga. Woh film (Divine Lovers) baar baar aati hai aur chali jaati hai. Aur Kangana itne pahuch ke bahar chali gayi hai ki agar muje unke saath kaam karna hoga toh mujhe unki heroine banna padega aur unko mera hero.” 

    When she heard about the comment, the Tanu Weds Manu actress, "Irrfan always teases me. He had once told me two swords could never stay in the same sheath. I couldn't understand it. But I would like to work with Irrfan sir regardless of whatever role is offered to me."

    But now it seems like all is back on track.

    The film, which will go in production in March 2017, is also said to have a powerful message for the audience. Kangna Ranaut, who is extremely excited about working with the talented director and actor, has revealed that she has loved the script, which is why she gave dates for next year.

    Kangna Ranaut is working on the historic movie Rani Laxmibai, while Irrfan Khan's Madaari just released this Friday to mixed audience reviews.
