In Pictures: Kangana Ranaut Takes 5 Dips And Performs Ganga Aarti In Varanasi!

Kangana Ranaut is the 'hatke' actress of Bollywood. She never follows the set patterns and does something new everytime. And this time too, in a unique style, Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut unveiled the poster of her upcoming film - Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi - at Dashwamedh ghat in Varanasi. She also took a dip in the holy waters of Ganga and performed the Ganga aarti!

Kangana was accompanied by the crew of her film and her mom, Asha to Varnasi. They arrrived at Varanasi in a boat!

Kangana looked gorgeous as usual.

Later Kangana got down into the water and took a dip in the holy Ganges.

The actor unveiled a 20-feet poster of the film at the Dasashwamedh Ghat. But that was not before she participated in the Ganga Aarti too.

Donning a golden saree, which she teamed with an orange brocade blouse and traditional jewellery, Kangana not only offered prayers but also took a dip in the holy waters of the Ganges and chanted “Har Har Mahadev”.

Kangana Ranaut also visited Kashi Vishwanath Temple to offer prayers and seek blessings for her upcoming movie ‘Manikarnika’. Here's the poster of the movie:

Incidentally, Deepika Padukone had also performed Ganga Aarti on the banks of the Holy river in Hrishikesh alongside her mother Ujjala Padukone in April.

Directed by Krissh, the film will see Kangana playing the warrior queen, Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi in a film titled ‘Manikarnika- The Queen of Jhansi.’The film will hit the theatres on April 27 next year.
