Don't Get Fooled! This Pic Of Kareena Kapoor Khan And Baby Taimur Is Totally Fake

Yesterday, actors Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan were blessed with their first child. And obviously, the baby boy, named Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, became somewhat of a trending topic. This led to a barrage of posts, jokes, messages--and yes, fake photos of the baby.

After a picture of the actress and her day-old baby went viral on social media, Kareena and Saif’s representatives have issued a statement that the highly shared picture is fake. The picture, it seems, has been morphed to look like it is Kareena and her baby. 

The picture, which shows Kareena on a hospital bed gently embracing the infant, has deceived many.Though it looks grainy, it is expertly edited. And sure enough the image created an online fervor, getting shared left and right on all social media platforms.

Taimur was born at Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital yesterday morning. In a statement issued by the star couple announced, “We are very pleased to share with you all the wonderful news about the birth of our son: Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, on the 20th of December 2016. We would like to thank the media for the understanding and support they have given us over the last 9 months, and of course especially our fans and well wishers for their continued affection. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all...With love, Saif and Kareena.”
