"There Are Too Many Clothes In Between"- Shahid Kapoor To Wifey Mira Rajput On The Koffee Couch!

If there is any episode of Koffee With Karan running on TV, the audience can be lest assured that Shahid Kapoor will definitely grace the couch. Right from 2004, when the first season was aired and Shahid appeared with Esha Deol (?!?!) to subsequently appearinging with Kareena, Priyanka and Sonakshi (the 'rumoured' girlfriends except for Kareena of course) we have seen him all the time in KWK. But this time it was specisl as the actor, for the first time, appeared with his wife Mira Rajput!

This was one of the most anticipated shows since fans and the audience has never seen Mira on a public platform before! Not only does she, along with Shahid answer all the queries that we had for so many years since their low-key and almost secret marriage, but Mira proves to be witty and devoid of any pretence. She nailed everything like a boss in the show, and also gave us some major #marriagegoals. Here are the highlights from the episode:

1. When Karan raised the topic of exes!

Karan Johar began on the note of Shahid's previous appearances, with his exes. He said that for the first time Shahid has brought someone to the show he is spending his life with. An embarrased Shahid said that it will be interesting after the show ends because he will have to finally go home with Mira!

2. Mira never knew that Shahid's parents were looking at her as a prospective bride!

And on a family lunch where his parents met her for the first time, here's what she blabbered!

3. When Shahid was downright eliminated based on age!

Mira's parents thought that the rishta was for Ruhan, Shahid's younger brother, because well Shahid was much older!

4. And Mira gave it on Shahid's face when they first met!

When the whole ladka meeting ladki thing was going on, the first thing Shahid asked Mira was why would she want to marry someone who is so much older to her. And Mira's answer was what you'll call as the 'burn' moment:

6. When Mira told clearly that she'll not be in the marriage pictures if Shahid colors his hair!

7. When Mira did not even spare Karan!

Well, when Karan felt that he was watching too much mush on his show, Mira said maybe it feels like he is watching one of his films:

And not just that, Mira nailed it then too when she said she hates nepotism, and Karan said that it might be directly pointed at him!

Like for example Shahid, on the process of saying how Mira always pulls the blanket on her, revealed that he is left naked. When Karan pressed on the point, he did reveal that he sleeps naked!

Mira also revealed that Shahid is a good kisser and that they had never had something called bad sex, but the best moment was when the 'pillow talk' started and Mira did not want anything to be in between her and Shahid, but Shahid jokingly siad that there's too many clothes! 

Ok ok guys, TMI already!

All in all, this was one of the cutest, most straight forward episode of Koffee With Karan that we had. Such a great start to the New Year!
