Lucknow Central Trailer Looks Like A Copy Of Qaidi Band, But With More Finesse!

The trailer of Farhan Akhtar's much awaited film Lucknow Central released today. And while it looked absolutely awesome, you can't miss its uncanny similarity with the trailer of YRF's Qaidi Band!

But the story of Lucknow Central looks more gritty and engrossing. Instead of putting emphasis on the actors, Lucknow Central seems to have put its bet on the storyline, which is more elaborate. It shows how Kisen, a simpleton who just wants to be a singer like Manoj Tiwari, lands up in jail on the charges of murder of an IAS officer! Lawyers are asking for capital punishment to close the case. And jail situations look more realistic, with politics and ugly fights,

While Kisen plans to make the great escape from jail, he has to chose between his dreams of becoming a singer by performing in the jail band, or freedom which can be achieved on that very day itself. While it looks like he will definitely choose freedom, will he be succesful?

The trailer is extremely well made and would totally make you awestruck. It seems like Farhan Akhtar will once again charm us with this film. His expressions look nuanced and he is looking perfect as Kisen!

And expect for Farhan, there is a power packed supporting cast. We have Ronit Roy as the corrupt police officer, Deepak Dobriyal as a fellow inmate who wants freedom like KIsen and Diana Penty as the woman who is making the jail band!
