Movie Review: Baaghi

    Movie Review: Baaghi

The first half of the film establishes Ronny (Tiger Shroff and Siya's (Shraddha Kapoor) love story. Set in the backdrop of Kerala, Ronny is in a Martial Arts Academy and Siya is visiting her granny in Kerala. Like every other love story, there's Raghav (Sudheer Babu) who falls in love with Siya and will go up to any extent for her. The tiff between the two heroes is the opening of the film, which starts with Siya being abducted and Ronny goes on a reluctant rampage to get her back. The reason behind the sudden hatred between the two is what might form the second half of the story.

Shraddha is hardly to be seen in the first half, except for the scenes where it rains and she jumps out to dance. The training session is eye grabbing and the action sequence impressive.

The second half of the film completes the broken tale of Shraddha and Tiger's love. The two estranged lovers unite and fight Raghav. Tiger is definitely a great fighter but isn't too reflective of his emotions and on the other hand, Shraddha is excellent at communicating everything through her expressions. The love story is overshadowed by the action sequence and we have no complaints.

The film defies logic like a lot of other Hindi film but that can be ignored for a bit. This film definitely makes for a one time watch and we will give it 3 stars.
