Nawazuddin Siddiqui Finally Speaks Up About Chitraganda Singh's Controversy

Nawazuddin Siddique has finally broken his silence about the controversy surrounding his film Babumoshai Bandookbaaz. The film had been creating headlines a few days back when the lead actress Chitrangada Singh walked out of the movie. The actress had accused the director, Kushan Nandy, of using crass and vulgar words while she and Nawaz were shooting an intimate scene.

Nawaz, who was silent about this issue all this while, has finally opened up. He has revealed that there was nothing bad about the shot.

"We did a normal scene. There was nothing unacceptable about what we shot.”

Speeaking about the director, Nawaz said,

"The incident being described did not happen. Kushan is a decent softspoken person. He's a gentleman, incapable of crass behaviour."

Speaking about the incident Kushan has said,

“Those who know me will know I never use filthy words like she has accused me of using. I don’t know people who use language like that. This is character assassination.”

He also intends to sue the actress on charges of defamation.
