 The Bollywood extravaganza of the year 2007 was when Aishwarya Rai became Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham’s Amitabh and Jaya were finally the beautiful in laws they were supposed to be. Ten years ago Geet met Aditya on a train and our lives were never the same! Fida, Milenge Milenge, Chup Ke Chup Ke, the then real life couple had many on screen performances under their belt but Imtiaz Ali’s Jab We Met became this iconic duo’s biggest hit. We thank Jab We Met for our delusions of meeting a guy like Aditya in a train and throwing the “mei apni favourite hu” dialogue! While Geet and Aditya found their happy ending, unfortunately Jab we met was the ending of Shahid and Kareena. Neverthless today they are both happily married in their separate lives.

Highlighting child learning struggle, tare zameen par was 2007’s feather in the cap. Cheeni Kum, Shootout at Lokhandwala, Bheja Fry, Life in a Metro and Guru were some other movies that made 2007 an indelible year!
