Pehredaar Piya Ki Episode 1 Roundup!

With a unique story this show "Pehredaar Piya Ki" starts with narrator telling about the family of Maan Singh and history of Kesar Mahal. The narrator says "old traditions have not died in the modern era & are still followed today like 'holika dahan' ". A house should not be considered as a hotel according to the main head  of the family, its authority and respect is considered as the main aim of the family but there is always a fear of some mishappening. 

Choti Thakurain is not portrayed fully as other characters, seems like there is some mystery related to her as Padma finds her responsible for mixing poison in the Kheer that was being served to 10 year old boy Prince Ratan.

Ratan's mother is so terrified with this incident that she doesn't want choti thakurain to be near him. His father along with his wife Padma & son prepares to leave for a function which is at his childhood friend's house. Ratan was already sleeping in the car, he was brought without any disturbance. Ratan loves to hear choti thakurain fairly tales that gives him good sleep but his mother does't get delighted by this.

Both the friends are happy to meet each other and they move inside the palace. Just then they get the news that Ratan is missing, his mother rushes towards the car and starts blaming choti thakurain for this. 

Diya ( Tejasswi Prakash) is seen in a Rajasthani attire, she is practicing a dance step and Ratan is seen coming out of a big gift box who remembers each and every line of the fairytale told by choti thakurain. He follows Diya and considers Diya as a fairy who has arrived from the heaven. He snaps pictures of her and continues following her. He stops when she is seen talking to someone, and saves her when she is about to fall by noticing a cockroach. He introduces himself and Diya thanks him. With the fairy tale still revolving in his mind he asks her to marry him. She comically replies that he is too small for the marriage.

Just then his parents arrive and his mother hugs him. Next his father is seen performing religious duties and we get to know that his hands do not have enough strength, as long back while saving Diya he got injured.
