Phobia Movie Review: From Phobia To Horror To Social Message, It Has Everything And It's Not Mixed Well!

Phobia Movie Review: From Phobia To Horror To Social Message, It Has Everything And It's Not Mixed Well!

Had some good expectations from Phobia, but it could not live up to them all.

Phobia is confusing, tries to pack a lot in one film. From phobia to horror to social message, it has everything and its not mixed well. It is also slow in the first half! But the end was good as it brought everything to a complete circle.

The psychological thriller would totally give you some goosebumps. But then you realise a lot of things could have been done away with and it could have been more compact. Radhika Apte was the main delight of the movie who carries the entire film effortlessly on her shoulders.

There were genuine moments of fear that can stir you from your seat. You might be reminded of Pawan Kripalni's other movie Ragini MMS. But keep one thing in mind, Phobia is not a horror movie.

Special mention: The use of the song Gandi Baat in the movie.
Verdict : Would have given it 2 stars,  but an extra 1 for Apte's performance.
