Pratyusha Banerjee's Last Short Film Hum Kuchh Kah Na Sakey Will Tell What Really Happened Before Her Death

Exactly an year hence since TV’s popular actress Pyratyusha Banerjee died, a short film Hum Kuchh Kah Na Sakey, featuring her in the lead has been released. It was possibly the last project Pratyusha signed and it has become even more important after her death. The weird bit about the film is that the film bears an uncanny resemblance to the events that led up to her death in 2016.

Based on a story about short lived relationships and relationship dying death due to ego issues, it is about a married couple falling apart due to inflated egos and not speaking their min to their partner. Pratyusha is seen as the lead and is named Shalu in the film while, interestingly her co star is named Rahul, as was the name of Prayusha’s real life boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh.

The Balika Vadhu actress committed suicide by hanging in her Mumbai apartment and it was alleged that it was due to her sour relations with her beau Rahul. They were said to be a abusive relationship some shocking detail of it were revealed after she died.  She was said to be really heartbroken after their separation.

In the film we see her character fall crazy in love with her husband and then over time the romance fades away as ego grows in its place. They finally get separated one fine evening without saying much to each other when there was too much to be said.

Pratyusha did not live to shoot the climax of this movie but it ends on a bitter note. A tribute to Pratyusha, the makers have brought out a message that however good or bad we have to live in order to experience what life has to offer.

Kamya Panjabi who was really close with the late actress has fought several odds to the film released to on her first death anniversary. Given the contents of the film bear resemblance to her real life the film faced a lot of opposition.

Now that is out, the actress will be on the mind of many fans who were left shocked by the sudden news of her  death last year.
