In an all new revelation by Pratushya Banerjee’s boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh, he alleges that Pratyusha’s parents used to mentally torture her.
Rahul told CNN- News 18, "She was earning a lot but did not have a single property in her name. Her parents have a 5 BHK house. I have documentary evidence that I did not take any money for power couple. I just had a signing amount."
He is very adamant on establishing the fact that Pratyusha’s parents were syphoning money from her all the time and he had no money from her earnings in his account, which he bets the investigation agencies to get verified from his bank accounts.

In the same interview, he also challenges the fact that he has a nine year old son. Rahul says, "Where is the nine-year-old son they are talking about? Can someone please show? Neeraj Gupta was never my lawyer. Please show me the waqalatnama. I have filed a complaint against him in the bar council.”

Pratyusha was in depression
Rahul confessed that she was no doubt in depression. He claims that it was because of her financial issues. “She used to drink a lot. Yes, we did have arguments, but which couple doesn't have. I will file a defamation case against Vikas Gupta and Kammya Punjabi,” he added.
Rahul never hired Neeraj Gupta, then why did he take up his case?
In an interview with Asian Age, Rahul denied that Neeraj Gupta was his lawyer and said, “Is Mr. Gupta such a big lawyer, who fights cases on moral ground and just because he was with me in hospital doesn’t mean he got the authority to talk on my behalf and later defame me.”
Pratyusha’s father lashes out at Rahul
However, after all these allegations, Pratyusha’s father has lashed out at Rahul saying, "Who is Rahul to say all this? All the allegations levelled are false," he said.”
Lawyer Neeraj Gupta who dropped the case is also defending himself: “The one who is making allegations against me is himself an accused in suicide abetment case.”

In an explosive interview to TOI, Neeraj has made quite a few revelations.
"I will advise him to file the case quickly. Taaki uske consequences toh pata chalein. Mujhe pata chalega ya usse pata chalega, woh toh samay hi batayega."
Neeraj exposed a crucial detail about Rahul saying, "Rahul stayed in my office for two days. Woh kya zabardasti leke gaya tha - I got him admitted to the hospital. His family stayed in my office for two days because they didn't have a home. I took him to Siddharth Hospital (where the post-mortem was conducted) in front of the police. Let him say what he wants to. I have known Rahul for six-seven years. We came in contact when he produced a Bhojpuri film. He approached me himself after the incident. I only told him, 'Bhaago mat idhar udhar. Police ke saamne jao.' He had called me around 9.30pm on April 1 (the day Pratyusha committed suicide) to seek my advice."

Kamya Punjabi’s angle
Kamya denies borrowing money from Pratyusha. It is being speculated that she had taken a sum of 2.5 Lakh Rupees from Pratyusha, but Kamya has a different explanation to this. She told TOI, “BCL ka playoff season aaya tha TV par. I am the owner of Jaipur Raj Joshilay team in the cricket tournament. Pratyusha, being my friend, was the brand ambassador of the team. She wanted that her dad's NGO be promoted through our team since there was media involved. She had given me Rs2.5 lakh as the sponsorship amount. We had made standees and we did many media interviews during that time. Borrowing Rs2.5lakh is different and sponsoring a team are two different things. I have proof to show that it was sponsorship money.”
The actress who has been successful on television with all her negative roles added, “Aaj tak aisi naubat nahin aayi hai ki udhaar maangna pade. This happened around three years ago when Rahul wasn't even in Pratyusha's life. Tell him to get his facts right. Jaipur Raj Joshilay is my team and I have bank accounts of the team. Jo humne standees banwaye thay woh bhi humne NGO ko waapis kar diye thay."
