8 Things That We Are Proud Of Priyanka Chopra For!

Priyanka Chopra has placed the Indian entertainment industry on the global map, quite literally. She took a "West" turn and life has been great since then. Currently, this globetrotter is shooting for her American TV show 'Quantico' in Montreal and is living life queen size. She was also recently on the cover of coveted T.I.M.E magazine and has been named in the list of 100 most influential people. And not to forget, she is also working on her first Hollywood film 'Baywatch' with Dwayne Johnson. 

Daddy's this little girl is out there and has made us all very proud of her work. 

Quantico

Priyanka Chopra bagged a lead role in the American TV show 'Quantico'. She was the first one to play a lead role in a TV series from her generation of actors. She has garnered love and appreciation for her role as Alex Parrish in Quantico.

Oscar Presenter

When Alex Parrish's role wasn't enough to quench her thirst (which we don't feel is wrong). After Persis Khambatta, she became the first Indian to present an Oscar. This excited most of the Indians and we are sure Priyanka was thrilled herself to be a part of the Academy Awards. And needless to say, she looked absolutely gorgeous.

Baywatch

But Oscars didn't stop Priyanka. She stayed focused, grounded throughout the phase of her transformation. And while the world was crazy about Deepika's collaboration with Vin Diesel for xXx, Priyanka broke the news about her association with Dwayne Johnson for the Baywatch series. She broke the news through an Instagram video. 

People's Choice Award

Priyanka won the People's Choice Award for her role in the American TV show Quantico. The Indian beauty beat Hollywood actors, Emma Roberts, and Jamie Lee Curtis, and won the award. 

Jimmy Fallon

And in case you've missed this one, then we will remind you that Priyanka Chopra very successfully trumped US President runner, Donald Trump, just by eating chicken wings on the Jimmy Fallon show. She appeared on the show looking absolutely gorgeous and the night started with the two (Jimmy Fallon and Priyanka Chopra) having a chicken wing eating competition. Priyanka won and became one of the top trends.  She went back a second time one the show and celebrated Holi on the sets of the show!

Though it is not a big deal for a lot of people but we were still proud of her.

And we have been waiting to share this one, Priyanka made it bigger and better for every Indian by featuring on the cover of the prestigious TIME magazine. And not just that, she has been named in the list of 100 most influential people. 

Tribeca Film Festival

After taking over the American audiences as Alex Parrish, she was appointed as a jury for the Tribeca Film Festival, 2017. Alongside, Olivia Thirlby, Ryan Eggold, Brendan Fraser and Ileen Gallagher she was appointed to judge the documentary and student visionary competitions. Now, that the mark of true star!

 Live with Kelly Show

 Right before she packed her bags for her return to India, she won several million hearts in the west went she went on to co host one of America’s most popular TV shows, Live with Kelly Show.  She got a roaring welcome on the show where she was introduced as an international star and was even compared to Tom Cruise! Yes!! The actress impressed everyone when she insisted on doing all her Quantico stunts herself, just like Tom Cruise does for all his movies!
