This Baahubali Star Reveals That He Is BLIND In One Eye!

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion seems to be on a record breaking spree. Not just the Indian audience but even those oversees have been flocking the theatre to watch this film of epic grandeur and stature. The clash between Baahubali and Bhallaladev is something we had been waiting to see all this while. And the two actors essaying these roles, Prabhas and Rana Daggubati, have garnered a lot of praise and acclaim for their talent. But did you know that Rana Daggubati is blind in one eye!

Yes, the star who has made evil look so much worse yet glamorous had revealed in a Telegu programme that he can see with only his left eye! In a chat show Memu Saitham aired on Telegu channel Gemini TV, the actor revealed:

“Should I tell you one thing, I am blind from my right eye. I see only from my left eye. The one you see is someone else’s eye which was donated to me after his death. If I close my left eye, I can see no one.”

Talking to a contestant who feared that blindness will become a barrier for her, the Baahubali star also revealed that the eye by given to him by a doner and that he was operated when he was a child. He had lost his vision in an accident when he was 7 years old!

“LV Prasad operated me when I was young. Study well, we will support, be courageous as you have to look after her. Sorrows will go away one day but you have to gear up and keep them happy always”.
