After Sanjay Dutt Biopic, Ranbir Kapoor is All-Set To Play THIS Legendary Man

After Sanjay Dutt biopic, Ranbir Kapoor is about to take up the role of none other than his own legendary grandfather, Raj Kapoor.

It has been reported that Kapoor family's production house RK Films are planning to make a biopic based on the life iconic father Raj Kapoor–and they have chosen Ranbir Kapoor to play the role.

Deccan Chronicle reports that the biopic has been a long-standing dream for the first family of Bollywood. But they took a while in deciding which actor to pick to play the challenging role, before they finally turned to Ranbir Kapoor to play the role.

The Tamasha actor's fascination with his legendary grandfather is a known fact as the actor also has a tattoo of Raj Kapoor's Awaara tattoes on his arm. It is also said that the actor is a big fan of his grandfather and has watched all his works.

RK Films, which was once considered a juggernaut in Indian film industry, hasn't produced any films since Aa Ab Laut Chalein. The 1999 film, starring Aishwarya Rai, Akshaye Khanna and Paresh Rawal, was a box-office failure.
