    It’s a tie!

Gautam as Saraswati Chandra and Ashish as Ram have created a unique fan base via TV. Both have a clear method of acting. Every frame and every dialogue they deliver will convince you right away. These two actors have a latent talent to get into the skin of the character and make it their own. Very deservingly, their names will always be in the top actors of TV.

    4. KSG - Karan Singh Grover

Before he became actress Bipasha Basu’s husband, KSG had already formed a solid fanbase via his TV shows. He’s a bigger traffic source for media than his wife. From Dill Mill Gaye to Qubool Hai, name it and he’s nailed it in every character. His brooding looks with a dash of evil smile, and a pinch of innocence (fans would know what we mean here), make KSG the most successful and skilled Karan of TV.

    3. Barun Sobti

Arnav Singh Raizada! A curious case of being terribly type cast, to an extent that now if the poor chap tries to do a normal role, people will not be able to easily digest it. His dashing angry young man image made him an overnight rage among women. They still drool over the mention of his name. One super hit serial, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon was enough for Barun to show his acting chops. He was just the right mix of everything we needed on Indian TV when other male characters had negligible identity, considering the fact the women rule TV.

    2. Ram Kapoor

Who’d have thought that a lean, smart and handsome man would have a successful second innings in life? Ram was first seen as Gautami Gadgil Kapoor’s husband in Ghar Ek Mandir. They didn’t quite get the popularity they deserved, but Ram came back from his TV exile with Kasamh Se on Zee and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. His weight and popularity had increased in a directly proportional figure. The interesting bit about his effortless acting skills, is the trick that people don’t know him as any other character name, but Ram. He's always maintained that. That, perhaps makes him the only star who is known by his name and has escaped the trauma of being known only by character name. He’s consistent, convincing, romantic and comic at the same time. Ram is one of the only TV leads who is cute and people don’t mind a cute lead hero!

    1. Ronit Roy

He saw stupendous success as Mr. Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagi Kay on Star Plus. The salt and pepper look and contact lenses made him look like a bigger hero than the parallel lead character Anurag Basu. Ronit’s power packed performance with the angry young man look made many women reconsider their choices on TV. From a chocolate boy driven industry, he brought in a new niche of characters with his intense eyes and dialogue delivery. Ronit’s next big leap was taking up the already legendary character of Mihir Virani in Kyunki. While he was the third Mihir in the line of replacement, Ronit was the only actor who got a rather warm welcome from the audience. He broke the Amar Upadhyay mania and took over as Mihir Virani. His onscreen presence and pairing with Smriti Irani worked wonders and he took the show forward on his shoulders. His choice of roles and convincing persona makes him an undisputed king of TV.
