Roke Na Ruke Naina: There's Something Absolutely Wrong About This Guilty Pleasure Song For Heart Broken People

Nothing can go wrong when you have Arijit Singh,  crackling chemistry between Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt with a sad love song! Roke Na Ruke Naina has all the potential to become a guilty pleasure for people who've fallen in love or are heart broken. 

The lyrics are hard hitting and meaningful, but somehow right at the beginning this song from Badrinath Ki Dulhania goes horribly wrong! While we understand that all this is entirely a work of fiction, we cannot rule out how films influence people, and propagate thoughts and actions.

Right at the beginning Varun is seen mishandling Alia Bhatt and as they converse, this is what they say!

Badri (Varun): Beech chaurahe pe maarenge tumko ....par bahut pyar karte hain tumse, haath aur haunsla dono kamzor pad jaate hain

You do feel like beating up people out of angst if you love them, but is beating up a lover for not reciprocating the same love justified? He doesn't beat her up or anything, but Badri gives you subtle feels of SRK from Darr.

The song which is a slow kill, shows Badri stalking Vaidehi throughout and exchanging glances as they both shed tears. 

They reckon the old good times and the song rightly can be the first heartbreak song of 2017. But with that beginning, we're not sure if it will go down well with people. 

The promos of the film have otherwise opened to great expectations and excitement among fans with some promising music and songs. Badrinath Ki Dulhania releases on March 10, 2017.
