Four Major Reasons Why Salman Khan's Eid Release Tubelight Failed Miserably!
Just like any Salman Khan movie, I had great expectations from TubeLight because all his previous Eid releases have proven to be blockbusters. Maybe the expectations were kept to the brim that my final movie experience turned out to be full of disspointments.
Here are the problems that I have from Tubelight
Same Tested Formula = Tasteless

I couldn’t stop counting out the similarities between Bajraangi Bhaijaan and Tube Light. A light hearted fluff, a cute child, mountains and set in the no war theme. Kabir Khan and Salman Khan’s predecessor may had compelling storyline, but if you want to release a movie with a similar theme, it’s better to wait a while.
Good Story, Poor Direction

Sometimes you want to cry, sometimes you want to laugh so you give up both and focus on your popcorn in confusion. The emotions of the film that we were supposed to feel just all went in a haze. The scene sequence was also mind wobbling at some time, from here to there… how?
Salman’s Unconvincing Acting

Lot of actors in Bollywood have given the mentally handicapped character performances. No matter how poorly the character is written, an actor’s job to make audience like him, not close their eyes everytime he comes on screen. This movie is adapted from Little Boy, where an eight year plays the role of Salman. That’s where the problem is really, a story set for an eight year wouldn’t accommodate a 51 year old.

If you’ve watched the film and didn’t like it, blame your expectations the most. Just because Sallu has a great history with Eid blockbusters, doesn’t mean his every movie will be.Tubelight became the conclusion of hypothesis.
