Salman Khan’s Tubelight Trailer Promises More Than A Salman Khan Blockbuster

So having kept all the fans waiting for about a year, the trailer of Salman Khan’s Tubelight is finally out. While there is no doubt the film will find its box office fate in the best records possible, the trailer however tries to convey a well sketched story. Needless to say, Salman Khan once again is bigger than the subject but who cares as long as we get the kind of entertainment we expect of him.

The innocence that Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi charmed us with in Bajrangi Bhaijaan seems to have been taken over by Laxman Singh Bisht here. Based on the backdrop of Sino-Indian war, Tubelight is a story of a brother who does everything he can to stop the war in his capacity and hope for his brother (Sohail Khan) to come back safe. From beautiful locales to feel-good one liners, the film has a mark of Kabir Khan all over it.

While Bhai went against all odds to get Munni home in Pakistan, this one here plays a similar track only the nationality and race changes. Sorry to be drawing comparisons, but the trailer does give you major Bajrangi Bhaijaan feels. Not that we are complaining too much about it!

From Om Puri and Sohail Khan to all the Chinese faces the story is wrapped around, Tubelight trailer never throws a dull moment. While the film still has a long way to go, we must admit there couldn’t have been a more positive start. Throwing all kinds of a commercial masala here at us, Kabir Khan is in hopes of another blockbuster.

So what’s missing? Maybe a romanctic angle but we don’t complain of that either. It’s been too long since Salman was seen not romancing anybody on screen and Tubelight just might break those shackles. However, the presence of Chinese actress Zhu Zhu can once again spring a surprise we aren’t really prepared for.

Little Boy or no Little Boy, we are being treated to a good Salman Khan movie is what the trailer has promised. From comedy, drama and emotions to much appealing Salman Khan in another special character, Tubelight is indeed on its way to light up Eid.

Is there anything that might make you like this trailer more? Oh of course, not to forget Shah Rukh Khan!

So while we wait for the film to unleash its cinematic appeal, all we have to say at the moment is – Haan Humein Yakeen Hai That Salman Khan is winning our hearts again!
