Here’s How Bollywood Has Already Hijacked All Major Festivals Next Year!

Festivals today in India have become star entities is something we’d all agree with. For last so many years, we’ve seen trends being set by different actors and their blockbusters that without a surprise came out on their trademark release slots. While we automatically attach the aura of Eid around Salman Khan, Dilwali has mostly been attributed to Shah Rukh Khan. Christmas as we all know has been an Aamir Khan thing since 2007!

While 2016 has mostly followed the usual norm, the next year has already been booked, set on the same pattern. Whatever little gaps that got left to be filled, have now finally been settled with this new addition that books Christmas 2017 for next year.

Before we tell you which film has booked Christmas 2017, let’s have a look how all major release slots that have already been booked by different stars:

Once upon a time people used to discover Eid by looking at the moon, today we see a Salman Khan release to confirm it. Needless to say, Eid 2017 will also see another Salman Khan biggie in the looks of Tubelight that is being directed by Kabir Khan.

    Independence Day

While no official word has come out as yet, Diwali however looks to be dominated by Shah Rukh Khan. As he comes out with his first release in January, it is most likely SRK will look to release his next big outing with Imtiaz Ali on Diwali.

    Christmas

And here comes the big challenger! While Christmas 2017 looked vacant for most part this year, it is now being speculated that no one else but Aamir will stake claim for his registered release slot next year. After Big B’s confirmation about working with Aamir in Thug, it is best for YRF to book Christmas next year. Mr. Bachchan has himself confirmed that they will wrap the film in the first half itself, which will give them enough time to release the film on Christmas next year.

So as we see all major release slots being hijacked by stars already, is there any place left for low budget or possibly potent movies to showcase? Of course, there are 52 Fridays in a year!
