Sneak Peek: Inside Details Of The First Episode Of The Kapil Sharma Show

The King of Comedy, Kapil Sharma is back on television, and we’ve watched the first episode of the show for you! The new show will air on Sony Entertainment Television.

Kapil Sharma along with his team and Shah Rukh Khan shot LIVE for his first episode of The Kapil Sharma Show in Delhi. The fans obviously went nuts to see their favourite people back after the longest possible break these stars took!

We give you some highlights from the shoot:

Kapil Sharma is back with a bang!

The King of comedy seems undeterred by any nonsense and controversies around Comedy Nights With Kapil! Not an ounce of nervousness or doubt about the first episode of his show, Kapil came out very confidently and couldn’t be more happy to re-introduce his already popular team from Comedy Nights With Kapil minus the Bua, who chose to stay back in Comedy Night Bachao.

1. Sumona Chakravarti is no more Kapil Sharma’s wife.

Yes, Sumona Chakravarti insisted on stage that “I want to tell the world, I’m single and I’m not Kapil Sharma’s wife!” She shared a few light hearted romantic moments with Shah Rukh Khan on stage and gave a cold shoulder with a pinch of humour to Kapil.

2. Gutthi is now a harayanvi police constable.

The crowd went nuts when erstwhile Gutthi aka Sunil Grover made his entry on stage. Kapil asked the audience if they liked Sunil as a woman or as a man, and no surprises for guessing this one, not one hand went up to see him as a man! We all love Sunil Grover as a drag. He shared the biggest problem he’s face on playing a woman all this while and said, “Main ladies kapde pehenke gents bathroom mein jata hun!”

He also gave us a de ja vu moment when he did his iconic Gerua act from CNWK but in a new way while he was frisking SRK as a woman constable and they grooved to Gerua in their own funny way. Before you could blink an eye, he changed into Gaurav, SRK’s FAN from his movie FAN and did the best dance on FAN Anthem ever!

3. Ali Asgar aka Dadi is now a Begum!

The grandest entry among all the characters in The Kapil Sharma Show was that of Ali Asgar, dressed in a sharara as Begum who’s dated Nawab Moolchand of God knows which city. Begum seduced people in the audience with her charm which we think Ali is best at, and forced SRK to recite his famous Jab Tak Hai Jaan dialogue for her, while she almost broke his already fragile knee by sitting on it. LOL

4. Chandan, the servant from CNWK is still an important anchor.

He cracked his lame jokes but did entertain everyone for a long while.

Chandan:  Meri lower back ke neeche crack hai

Kapil: Wo crack nahi partition hota hai

5. SRK promotes FAN on The Kapil Sharma Show

SRK is indeed a marketing genius and he knows Kapil Sharma is the shortcut to success for film promotions. The King of Romance spent more than 3 hours on the sets with the King of Comedy and had a gala time with fans.

6. Kiku Sharda is tired of people asking him if he’s the same guy jo jail jata hai!

After his fiasco on CNWK when Kiku Sharda was arrested for mocking Gurmeet Ram Raheem Singh Insaan, everyone has been asking him one question, “ Aap wahi hain na jo jail jaate hain?”

He’s not Palak anymore, rather he’s Nawab Moolchand (quite a promotion we’d say!) and no surprises for guessing who is his begum!

7. The team has really taken the whole controversy around their famous show going off air and they’re back in full form!

8. Siddhu Paji is back as well and is in no mood to stop his random sher-o-shayari.

9. The Kapil Sharma Show is going to bring back your weekends on track and you’re not going to miss anything because the theme of the show is pretty much what you’re used to seeing.
