Did You Know Kapil Sharma's On-Screen Wife Sumona Chakravarti Acted In An Aamir Khan Film As A Child?

Sumona Chakravarti took a trip down the memory lane when she met actor Manisha Koirala on the sets of Kapil Sharma’s comedy show. Not many would know or remember that Sumona had worked with Manisha and Aamir Khan in Indra Kumar’s Mann (1999), when she was a child actor. So, it was almost after 18 years that the two came together on the TV show.

An eyewitness says, “Everyone was excited to see Manisha on the sets of the show, but Sumona was definitely on cloud nine. After all, she was meeting her after 18 long years. Sumona and Manisha had a small reunion on the sets of the show. They interacted with each other between the shots, and even clicked photos together.”

“I was happy to see Manisha Koirala. I was 11 or 12 years when Mann was shot, and it was a fun experience. And we don’t even realise how time flies. When I met her on the sets after so many years again, I showed her a snap from the movie and she was thrilled. She even asked me to share the pictures, which she tweeted,” says Sumona, who has been a part of films such as Barfi! (2012), Kick (2014) and Phir Se... (2015). Manisha was part of the show to promote her upcoming film, Sunaina Bhatnagar’s Dear Maya, slated to release next month.
