There Is A 30-Day Long Film About To Come, And Its Trailer Is 7 Hours Long!

And you thought your exams lasted longer?

Hard to believe, but true. Swedish artist Anders Weberg has released the second trailer of his film 'Ambiancé' which is 30-DAYS-LONG for crying out loud. His first trailer to this film came out in 2014 which was 72 minutes long, and this new one runs for 7 hours and 20 minutes.

Yes, you read that right. But wait, there is more.

You may wait for months to get done with your exams, or prepare for your next promotion, but you'd never be as patient as the director of this Art film who is all set to release its final trailer in 2018 which would be .... wait for it.... 72 HOURS LONG.

How perfect, a 72-hour long trailer to a film that goes on for 720 hours, non-stop. That means you can not get up in between. You can't take any breaks, you can not pop out for a snack. That is, only if you're planning to watch the whole movie. However, if you're thinking that this is just another director gone mad for artsy movies and trying to take people in for a ride, you're mistaken.

Anders Weberg has more important ideas behind making this film than just grabbing attention.

He is a well-renowned director in Sweden, with credits to more than 500 films and 100 music videos. This film (which, by the way, is long enough for an Indian TV Serial to finish one wedding, or take a generation leap) and the whole point of its creation is to create a cinematic experience which can never be complete for anyone.  Anders Weberg is the director who is credited with making the idea of 'Peer to Peer' or P2P art popular amongst the masses. Here people upload their original work, and when someone downloads it, they delete it so the film solely stays put due to its sharing among others.

How is this happening? Can we watch it on some other planet where it lasts for, like, a minute? *Interstellar Joke FTW*

Interestingly, this 30-days-long film is all about two performance artists on a beach. There are no cuts, nothing. Nada! However, Weberg is all set to screen this film on 31st December 2020. And once it is screened, he has confirmed that he is going to delete it and bow out of the video medium.

We are pretty sure that this is a great idea with deep dedication towards the medium of Cinema and all, but 30 days? Seriously?

But well, the ones interested will surely start preparing from now onwards. What are your plans, then?
