Yes, Sangam and Mera Naam Joker -- both directed by and starring Raj Kapoor -- had not one but two intervals.

The films which released in 1964 (Sangam) and 1970 (Mera Naam Joker) hold the record for officially being the only Hindi films with more than one interval, with each having two intermissions in one viewing.

    The reason? Obviously, the length.

Both movies are among the longest Bollywood movies to ever been made. While 1964's Sangam had a length of 238 minutes (3 hours, 58 minutes), 1970's Mera Naam Joker has a running time of 255 minutes (4 hours 15 minutes). And that prolonged duration resulted in two breaks in a single viewing.

While this special feature didn't really affect Sangam (as it gained commercial and critical success), Mera Naam Joker suffered badly at the box office. Though, now, both movies are considered classics of Indian cinema.
