4 Things You Need To Know About SRK's Raees!

Every Shah Rukh Khan film is highily anticipated movie, but Raees is the one we have been really looking forward to. Not because it's release date has been changed like a million times. But because we think that the film has the potential to reaffirm the actor's 'King Khan' status. 

Now that the release of the film has been finally confirmed (we hope), we can finally start the official countdown for the upcoming movie. 

So here are the things you need to know about the film:

The Inspiration

It tells the story of the alcohol bootlegger Raees Khan in the 1980s Gujarat, which is based on the life of the real life gangster Abdul Latif. 

The Actors

In addition to SRK's Raees Khan, the movie will have Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be playing the role of a tough cop. The film will also star popular Pakistani actress Mahira Khan. The film will also have Sunny Leone in an item number and Canadian Youtube star Lilly Singh.

The Filmmakers

The film is directed by National Award-winning director Rahul Dholakia and produced by Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment and Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillis Entertainment.

The Release Date

After getting delayed over and over again, the film is now scheduled for January 26, 2017 opposite Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil.
