This Is What Really Upsets Lata Mangeshkar About Tanmay Bhat’s Video!

Tanmay Bhat’s video broke the internet, but not in a very positive way!  The Snapchat video, titled Sachin VS Lata Civil Wars, created a hullabaloo in the nation, with celebrities coming out and openly expressing how upsetting the video had been. Some had even gone to the extent of asking the police to arrest Bhat due to the contents in the video.

The celebrities involved in the video, i.e., Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar had both refrained from commenting on the video. While Sachin’s wife Anjali had commented that the video is disrespectful, Lata Mangeshkar had not said anything till now!

But finally the Nightingale of India had expressed what has really upset her about the video.  Speaking to DNA India, Lata has taken up the topic that has been into a lot of controversy.

“Nothing affects me... I learnt from a young age that work is the only thing that matters.”

In fact the only thing that is bothering the legendary singer is the fact that that the whole nation has shifted its focus entirely on the video, instead of the other bigger issues prevalent in the country. She expressed how disturbed she is because people have troubled themselves with the video.

“I don’t like the idea of people getting hassled because of me. I want to assure all my well-wishers that these are very small matters. There are far greater issues in life. We must not give undue importance to those who thrive on maligning people. I am sure they have their reasons for what doing what they do.”

We just hope that the nation really takes a chill pill about the whole issue, now that the singer herself has revealed that she is totally cool about it!
