Romance is perhaps the most favorite genre of Bollywood, but of all the iconic love stories that we have seen unfolding on the silver screen till now, this is set to be the most different and also the most impactful one yet. The trailer of Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar’s Toilet Ek Prem Katha is out and it will definitely change the way we look at romance in the Indian heart land.

It’s perhaps easier to stay in a hotel room with no kitchen than to stay in a house without a toilet. Being metropolitans it is perhaps difficult to imagine a world where there are no toilets at home.  Or imagine getting married in a house without one??

Well the makers of Toilet Ek Prem Katha imagined all of that and brought out this unique love story, where after Taj Mahal, Akshay Kumar has his heart set on get a toilet made for the love of his life.

Manglik and desperate to get married Akshay finally falls in love with Bhumi Pednekar. They get married and all is going well, till of course she discovers that her in laws believe toilets to be a taboo.

Now, Akshay jumps in tries to convince his father to build one in the house but in vein. His wife leaves him and all that he can do to save his marriage is to build a toilet!

So there starts a relentless and crazy journey of doing just! The promising performances in  the witty trailer have us excited for the 11^th of August and we are doing to see how Akshay wins his love back!
