The First Trailer Of Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk Will Make You Squeal With Excitement

Just in case, if you have been looking under a rock in a remote village for the past decade or so, let us tell you briefly about how great a director Christopher Nolan is.

In addition to making the best superhero saga of all time, the director has made one of the best sci-fi movies of all time in the form of Inception and Interstellar. If that wasn't enough, he has made uniquely original Memento and The Prestige. 

In short, he is as a good a director you'll find anywhere in the world. 

And with his upcoming film Dunkirk, he is doing something that he hasn't done before. The war-movie genre has been one of the mainstays of the modern filmmaking. And the fact that a filmmaker as original as Nolan is attempting something a popular genre gives us hope of seeing something old in a fashion that we haven't seen before.

Well, to be honest, that was enough to make us excited. And then the first trailer of the film dropped and it's hard to contain the excitement that we are filling our hearts at the moment.

With World War 2 in the backdrop, the film particularly focuses on a particular event in  1940, when Allied soldiers were rescued by the British Army from the French city of Dunkirk.The film will star Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh and Mark Rylance and singer Harry Styles.

Dunkirk is scheduled to release on 21 July 2017.
