We all have been going crazy over Virat Kohli for his fabulous innings against Austraila recently or his strong, balanced yet explosive performances over past few years. As a cricketer, he has managed to show class and strength on the field as well as performed under pressure. But is that all to the star cricketer of Team India? 

We are sure that the story of becoming the Hero of a nation must be different from what we manage to see on the screen or on the field. Dhoni (based on the journey of Mahendra Singh Dhoni), we are pretty sure that these actors would give each other tough competition for the protagonist's role. 

Because he can pull off any role with poise and elan. His acting skills are on point as well as he carries the charm to pull off Virat Kohli's character on screen. His grace matches with which Virat plays strokes on the field, so he seems like the apt choice for this role.

He does come across as the cute boy-next-door, but he has proved his ability to transform according to the needs of the role. He has the cuteness as well as the nerve to change himself into the stern cricketer who actually proves the words 'Man Of Steel' worth it. In Virat's case, he has proven to be the player India needs, and Varun can definitely play the role convincingly that way.

He's a true gentleman who can display an amazing depth of character which is seldom matched. Whether it be a street smart goon or a sophisticated Engineer, he has shown us that he possesses the knack of dealing with any role that is handed to him. What more does one need to portray a cricketer with the same qualities? The seriousness with which Arjun executes his role can be a great asset while playing Virat Kohli's character who in real life displays the same qualities on the field.

His acting talent is absolutely unmatched. He has shown the glimpse of it through his performances in 'Shahid' and 'Citylights'. He has the power to own the screen when he arrives in the shot. The fierce look in his eyes can match the zeal we see in Virat Kohli's eyes when he finishes an innings perfectly or smashes a yorker to the boundary.

Do we need to say more? Shahid Kapoor is one of those actors who can play the cute and aggressive charmer at the same time. He has developed and grown as an actor and he has given mind boggling performances through his way. He can carry the sporty look and can portray Virat's journey with his expressive eyes and dedicated efforts. Virat Kohli is very persistent on the field and Shahid's perseverance matches the need of the role. He also has just the perfect body for it.

He has played 'Dilli Da Munda' before and we all know how much we loved his 'Bitoo' Avatar in 'Band Baja Baraat'. He has the energy and the guts to portray the amazingness of Virat Kohli and since he is such a dedicated actor, he would have no problem in practicing extra to fit into this role of a cricketer which asks a lot of hard work and strength. His energy levels match Virat Kohli's in every instance, and yet he knows where to put a leash on it for good and efficient use. 

He is already portraying M. S. Dhoni in an upcoming biopic of the same name and the trailer looks absolutely promising. Given that he has already sharpened the skills to play a cricketer on screen, it wouldn't be too tough a task for him to play Virat too. We would love to see how that turns out. Since Virat is a very talented batsman and knows his shots. Sushant Singh Rajput's sincere looks can be a great asset.

Yes, we know he has not even made his debut in Bollywood but he is about to do that with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's 'Mirzya' very soon and from the looks of it, he comes across as a strong-willed actor who can take challenges head on. It would be interesting to see a new face in Bollywood gearing up for one of the most challenging tasks ever. His enigmatic persona fits well with the image of Virat Kohli who keeps his fans entertained by surprising them on the field.
