'Kapoor & Sons' Earns A Whopping Rs 31.43 Cr At The Box Office!

Shakun Batra's 'Kapoor & Sons' starring  Alia Bhatt, Fawad Khan and Sidharth Malhotra released on 18th March 2016, Friday. The film which is a complicated love story with Dharma's essential 'family' mark has been loved by the audience. This dysfunctional family drama which reminds all of us of our own perfect yet imperfect families has swayed the viewers and it opened to a whopping Rs 6.85 crore on its first day. Even though it faced the heat of India Vs Pakistan (ICC T20 World Cup) on its second day of business but it managed to collect a total of Rs. 7.75 crore on the second day. 

The weekend has been strong for the film which earned a total of Rs 26.35 crore over the weekend, with the highest earning of Rs 11.75 crore on Sunday. 

The film managed to earn a sum of Rs 5.08 crore on Monday after a great weekend collection of Rs. 26. 35 crore. 

This is Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra's second film together after they debuted in Karan Johar's 'Student of the Year' and Fawad Khan is hogging the limelight with his great performance and good looks. But the film's most adorable and oldest character is being showered with love and appreciation for his acting. Yes, the oldest Kapoor in 'Kapoor & Sons', played by Rishi Kapoor. There is no actor in the film which is a little less than the other. The talent baton is being transferred from one hand to another.
