Things That Bollywood Needs To Learn From Hollywood RIGHT NOW!

Over the past century Bollywood has grown into this huge industry that affects us on daily basis by not just entertaining us but building ideas, influencing the economy and shaping our philosophy. But even after 100 years of growth it still has a long way to go.

Things That Bollywood Needs To Learn From Hollywood RIGHT NOW!

With the growing networking and globalisation the Indian cinema or commonly called as Bollywood has been facing tough competition from the Hollywood. Hollywood has been a source of good movies for the past so many years and has always maintained an upper hand over Bollywood films. Bollywood has always surprised us with some brilliant movies such as 3 idiots, Airlift, Dil Chahta hai and many more but at the same time some movies such as Tees Maar Khan, Krish and Alien negate the constructive work done by the former set of movies in creating a positive image about Bollywood.

Things That Bollywood Needs To Learn From Hollywood RIGHT NOW!

It’s easily comprehendible that our Indian audience is influenced by the western culture and Bollywood isn’t able to cope up with it. Movies like Krrish 3 are trying their level best to cope up with the pop culture that the Hollywood has setup over the years with its enormous superhero franchise but they fail due to several aspects not taken into account. The VFX used by Bollywood are way to low compared to what Hollywood does, a basic difference that changes the perspective of the audience towards the movie.

With the open ideology that our nation is trying the to adopt, inspired by Hollywood, Bollywood tries its level best to humour us with adult content or more than necessary content. But the secret here is not overdoing it. Sometimes Bollywood movies overdo the plot just to catch up with what Hollywood has to offer. But the secret is to make it as human and believable as possible. Why is it that movies like Fault In Our Stars or 500 Days of Summer are considered as the best movies in the romantic genre ? The sole reason is because they keep it subtle and real.

However I must appreciate the good work done by some Bollywood films in entertaining us in numerous ways. Movies like Hera Pheri and A Wednesday are something we look forward to rather than movies like Rascals, Grand Masti and Jism 2.

I believe that Bollywood is better than Hollywood in several aspects but one must admit that it still needs to learn a thing or two from Hollywood movies to create a wholesome experience for the families.
