Priyanka Chopra, Sidharth Malhotra And Other Bollywood Celebs Congratulate Team Parasite For Winning Big At The Oscars

One of the most celebrated and loved films of 2019, South Korean black comedy thriller Parasite not only won hearts, but also bagged many awards at the 92nd Academy Awards. The team took home trophies for the categories of Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and the Best International Feature Film Award. Directed by Bong Joon-ho, the film features Song Kang-ho, Lee Sun-kyun, Cho Yeo-jeong, Choi Woo-shik and Park So-dam in lead roles.

As soon as the reports were out, fans started showering social media with appreciation and praises for the cast. Along with public, Bollywood celebrities such as actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas and filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, also took to their official handles to congratulate the team of Parasite. While PeeCee shared a heartfelt post stating ‘we are one through entertainment’, the Panga director wrote: “The world of storytelling is evolving literally so and it’s for us to see. There is hope that no matter who you are or where you come from no dream is unachievable, we just have to keep living and breathing it everyday.”
