No Oscar But Riz Ahmed Wins Hearts By Fixing Wife Fatima's Hair At The Red Carpet Of The 93rd Academy Awards

British actor and rapper Riz Ahmed may not have earned an Oscar for Sound Of Metal for which he was nominated as the Best Actor in a Leading Role category this year, but he certainly has netizens swooning over him today. The actor’s sweet gesture for his wife at Oscar’s red carpet this evening caught the fans’ attention today and they just can’t get enough.

Nominee Riaz Ahmed turned up at the Oscars 2021red carpet-looking suave with wife Fatima Farheen Mirza by his side. She the shutterbugs went clicking Riz had the photographers pause a moment as he fixed his wife’s hair for the cameras.

The video of this adorable moment shared between the couple at the red carpet went viral within minutes and fans had their hearts fluttering. Riz and novelist Fatima tied the knot last year in a hush hush wedding and only revealed their wedding to the world in January 2021.

Riz’s flawless act in the Best Picture nominated Sound Of Metal had earned him the Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead. He may not have taken home an Oscar but he certainly did win hearts with wife Fatima at the Academy Awards today. His nomination also created history making him the first Muslim actor to be nominated for an Oscar in the Best Actor in a Leading Role category.
