Zareen Khan And Anshuman Jha Starrer Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele Wins International Recognition

In a pleasant turn of events, the Harish Vyas directorial Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele starring Zareen Khan and Anshuman Jha has managed to win the est Film' Audience Choice Award at the HBO South Asian International Film Festival. The film is a fresh and unusual take on LGBTQ members in the country and traces the journey of two individuals, one gay man, and one lesbian girl as they travel from Delhi to McLeodganj. The film opened to packed houses and received a lot of praise for the film.

Talking about the film and the response it received, the director said, “This is heartening. Anshuman was the first actor who greenlit this project after several big names had refused it as they were worried about the concept. We developed the script for over a year, took it to the film market and made it in record time. I thank Anshuman for being the backbone of this film through development and shoot - and according to me giving his most nuanced performance since LSD. To Zareen for auditioning and playing Mansi with the attitude that she has - they will win many hearts.”

The film is yet to see the light of the day in India, but after the stupendous response, we are surely looking forward to watching it ourselves.
