6 Bollywood Stars Who Failed To Make An Impressive Comeback
Comebacks in Bollywood are not easy to crack and some of the most popular stars have failed to live up to the hype. But an attempt is one thing and persistence is another. Bollywood is not unknown to stars who kept striving hard to achieve their lost fame in Bollywood and made multiple attempts at a comeback. While only a few sailed through others have sort of made it a point to kill our love for them by trying too hard and missing every damn time. Take a look at these Bollywood actors who failed at a Bollywood comeback multiple times.
Govinda – He may have several complaints about being forgotten by his Bollywood contemporaries, but frankly his selection of films to make a comeback with have been really dud and have impressed no body. Be it 2014, where he was seen in flops like Kill Dil and Happy Ending or his recent Aa Gaya Hero, both his attempts at a comeback were mega flops.
Madhuri Dixit – She made a much hyped comeback after her marriage in 2007 with Aaja Nachle and her fan following of millions was left thoroughly disappointed. Then she sifted back to India with her entire family and tried to rebuild her career in Bollywood in 2013. She was seen in Dedh Ishqiya in 2014 and while her performance was appreciated the film flopped and failed to give her career the face lift she desired.

Karisma Kapoor – The actress made her last appearance before marriage in the film Baaz in 2003. The film was a mega flop and so was her comeback film Mere Jeevan Saathi in 2006. Her second attempt at a comeback was the film Dangerous Ishq in 2012 where she was seen in a triple role, but this one too failed to win her any accolades.

Raveena Tandon – After her marriage in 2004 she was seen making a Bollywood comeback in the 2006 comedy Sandwich, that failed to get her noticed. She tried again with a small role in Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap in 2011, but it did no wonders to bring her Bollywood career back on track.

Suchitra Krishnamoorthi – She technically did not see much success after Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, way back in 1994. Her comeback phase was especially bad with films like My Wife’s Murder in 2005 and two years later a second attempt with Ram Gopal Varma’s Aag, her comeback had to be doomed.

If these comebacks did anything to the audiences with regard to these actors, it was only to fizz out to the good old memories we had of them in their more popular times. Reality shows on TV are the safest bets for comebacks these days it seems.

Although we need no reintroduction to his incredible acting skills yet, his recent comeback to the silver screen with Bhoomi failed to impress the audiences. The actor who was last seen in a short role in PK back in 2014 certainly deserved better than this!
