We often look at the comprehensive cost of a movie and tend to overlook how many minutes of entertainment has that money been spent to deliver. With Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat we were treated with possibly the most expensive Bollywood movie ever produced. Going by its suggestive runtime, Padmaavat has a cost of more than a crore per minute.
But that’s not the only movie in that club, we have more. When we tried looking into the numbers of other expensive Bollywood movies, we found the whopping per minute costs those movies entail. Did you know Shah Rukh Khan’s Diwale was made on a cost of 1.05 crores per minute? That’s quite unbelievable, isn’t it?
