These are not the actresses making a comeback. These are not the debutant actresses either. These are the ones who have made good impression over the past and are now keeping fingers crossed for their releases in 2018 that could elevate their status to the next level. Let's talk about 10 such actresses for whom 2018 could well turn out to be a special year.

Radhika Apte - PadMan

 

She has a tendency to win accolades each time comes on screen. She in fact has a blockbuster to her name as well down South [Kabali]. However, in Bollywood, she is waiting for a big grosser against her name. That is now all set to happen for Radhika Apte who would be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in PadMan. The film is touted to be the next 100 crore club film in the offering and that could well be pleasing Radhika.

Nushrat Bharucha - Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety

 

She has been around for quite some time and has bagged a few successes as well in the form of Love Sex Aur Dhokha, Pyar Ka Punchnama and Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2. While she has been playing in the mid league, Nushrat Bharucha is made for a bigger game. Of what one has seen of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety so far, this could well act as a playground for her to make merry and take her to the next level altogether.

Diana Penty - Parmanu - The Pokhran Story, Happy Bhag Jayegi Returns

 

Diana Penty started off well with Cocktail and followed it up (albeit after a long gap) with Happy Bhag Jayegi. However, she didn't really have much of a role to talk about in Lucknow Central. Nonetheless, 2018 is set to be special for her as not just does she return in the sequel Happy Bhag Jayegi Returns, there is also a dramatic affair set to release soon in the form of Parmanu - The Pokhran Story with John Abraham .

Urvashi Rautela - Hate Story 4

 

After her debut with Sunny Deol starrer Singh Saab The Great , Urvashi did score an item number success with 'Dad Mummy' [Bhaag Johny]. This was followed by a moderately successful Sanam Re . However, it is still early days for Urvashi Rautela in the industry and she could well be keeping fingers crossed for Hate Story 4. The film is helped by the franchise factor and also features Urvashi as a central protagonist.

Kriti Kharbanda - Veere Ki Wedding, Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se

Kriti is a talented actress and sparks of that were seen in Raaz Reboot, Guest Iin London and Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana. However, big success has been evading her in Bollywood. No wonder, she must be really aiming high in 2018 as there are two light-hearted films set up for release next - Veerey Ki Wedding and Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se. Former features her with Pulkit Samrat while latter has her with Bobby Deol .

Kirti Kulhari - Blackmail

 

Kirti has been around for a while and did make a very good impression in 2016 release Pink . The film was a superhit at the box office and reiterated once again that Kirti is a bundle of talent. Nonetheless, as an outsider, she is continuing to make her presence felt and there is a good opportunity to do that again with Blackmail where she has Irrfan Khan for company. One waits to know what the film is all about.

Disha Patani - Baaghi 2

 

She made her presence felt in M.S. Dhoni - The Untold Story as the love interest of Sushant Singh Rajput . Commonly known as 'National Crush' and for a good reason, she did give her best in Kung Fu Yoga as well but the confused Indo-China film failed big time at least in India. Nonetheless, there is a second coming all set with Ahmed Khan 's Baaghi 2 where she would be seen opposite her alleged boyfriend Tiger Shroff .

Amy Jackson - 2.0

 

Though she has done a few films down south, in Bollywood her only outings have been Ek Deewana Tha and Singh Is Blinng. Former was a flop and latter worked. Now she would be back in 2.0 which again features Akshay Kumar, though it has to be seen whether she is paired opposite him or Rajinikanth . Meanwhile, over the years, she has been quite active on social media and has been a hit with Instagram.

Daisy Shah - Race 3

 

Her Jai Ho did just about fine business though her other small time outings just couldn't register any presence whatsoever. Meanwhile, she has been with Salman Khan during his world tours and that has kept her in circulation. Moreover, her Hate Story 3 was a clean hit as well. Now she would be seen next in Race 3 and though she is not paired with Salman Khan, Daisy Shah would be noticed for sure in this Eid release.

Fatima Sana Shaikh - Thugs of Hindostan

 

She played Aamir Khan 's daughter in Dangal and though wasn't seen as a conventional leading lady per se, it has been a proud moment for her to have featured in Bollywood's biggest grosser till date. Now she would be seen next in Aamir Khan's Thugs of Hindostan. Fatima Sana Shaikh has a task ahead for her though since there is Katrina Kaif as the leading lady too. One waits to see what does the girl bring on board.
