Anurag Basu's Next Starring Abhishek Bachchan Gets A New Release Date, Will Clash With Kangana Ranaut's Panga

Anurag Basu’s upcoming action comedy has finally found a release date. The film is a multi starrer [that was earlier touted to be a sequel to Life In A… Metro] with Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapur, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra and Pankaj Tripathi in the cast. The film has booked Republic Day 2020 for release and will be clashing at the box office with Kangana Ranaut’s Panga which is being helmed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari.

The project which is still untitled has already gone on floors and some stills of Abhishek Bachchan shooting for the film are doing the rounds of the internet. Anurag Basu had earlier clarified that the film is not a sequel to his 2007 film Life… In A Metro.

Fatima Sana Sheikh also shared a look from the film on Twitter that also features Rajkummar Rao in a retro avatar. The film was earlier scheduled for September 2019 release which has now been moved to 24 January 2020 which was already booked for the sports drama Panga starring Kangana Ranaut.
