Article 15 Box Office Day 13: The Ayushmann Khurrana Film Reaches The 50 Crore Mark!

2017 has started the trend, 2018 had strengthened it and now 2019 is following the legacy of content speaking louder than star power in Bollywood. The audiences and their taste in films have changed drastically over the years. Gone are the days of big stars making a film without a script a giant hit- movie-goers now want a storyline and brilliant performance to carry it through and Anubhav Sinha’s Article 15, starring the impeccable Ayushmann Khurrana stands testimony to this.

The Ayushmann Khurrana starrer had been a small budget film with a subject line that was socially relevant but niche. The film has been running well in just the metropolitan cities, but thanks to its steady collections, it has now entered the 50 crore club, which is a big thing for a small budget film.

On Wednesday, i.e., on its 13^th day, the film collected 1.35 crore taking the total collection to 50.83 crores. In fact, its Wednesday biz was even better than Tuesday. The collections have been steady so far and it would probably collect another 1 crore today!
