Salman Khan's Bharat Collects 150 Crores In 5 Days!
Salman Khan’s Bharat is having a stupendous run at the Box Office so far. The film opened to a massive 42.3 crores, making it the highest ever opener for Salman Khan and the second highest opener of Bollywood after Thugs Of Hindostan. Even though the collections saw a dip on Day 3, it has maintained a consistency over the weekend with a collection of 20 crore+. What’s more, with the extended weekend, Bharat has already made 150 crores.
Bharat collected 27.90 crores on Day 5, i.e., on Sunday, making the total biz go upto 150.10 crores. The film has already become the second highest grosser of the year, after Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike. Whether or not it will become the biggest film of Salman Khan will depend on how it maintains itself this week!
Salman Khan’s Bharat is the official Bollywood remake of the Korean film, An Ode To My Father. The film has been directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and also stars Katrina Kaif, Sunil Grover, Jackie Shroff, Nora Fatehi and Disha Patani. While fans have been showering love to this Salman Khan film, many critics did not like the film that spans for over six decades and narrates the journey of a country through an individual. The film is one of the more successful Eid releases after Sultan and comes as a relief at the Box Office after films like Tubelight and Race 3.
