The Box-Office Collection Of All Films Of Salman Khan And Priyanka Chopra Together And The Fate Of Bharat!

Bharat is all to kickstart really soon. The film, that was announced a month back with Ali Abbas Zafar and Salman Khan . But now the other members of the cast has also been finalised. While popular comedian Sunil Grover will be seen in an important role in the film, Bharat will also mark the comeback of Priyanka Chopra into Bollywood. In fact, it would be after some 11 odd years that Salman and Priyanka would be seen together once again!

As we are all excited to have Salman and Priyanka together once again, let us look back at all the films that they have done together and their box office collection:

1. Mujhse Shaadi Karogi -2004

Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra were paired on-screen for the first time in 2004 in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. The film also had Akshay Kumar and Akshay and Priyanka had done quite a few films together before that. In fact, their chemistry on-screen was so fabulous that many speculated that they were dating in real life. 

While it was mostly Akshay-Priyanka charmed that worked for this film, the first film starring Salman and Priyanka together was a HIT. Made with a budget of 29 crores, it grossed 29 crores!

2. Salaam-E- Ishq (2007)

Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra were seen together next after 3 years in the multi-starrer Salaam-E-Ishq. It cannot be called just a Salman-Priyanka film. The film failed to connect with the audiences and it was a DISASTER. Made with a budget of 43 crores, it could only gross some 23 crores.

3. God Tussi Great Ho (2008

Salman and Priyanka were next seen together in the Hindi remake of Bruce Almighty. While Salman and Priyanka were the lead in the film, Amitabh Bachchan and Sohail Khan were also in pivotal roles. This film also flopped and could only collect 12 crores while it had a budget of 21 crores

What has changed since then?

Cut to 2018, the situation is quite different. Salman Khan is one of the biggest stars and all his films have a record collection for the last 5 years. In fact, except for Tubelight , all his films have been either superhit or blockbusters. 

Priyanka Chopra has become a global star. She has not just worked in the American TV series Quantico but has also done Hollywood films like Baywatch and Someone Like Jake. Bharat will mark her coming back into Bollywood films after 2015 release Bajirao Mastani . With her fans waiting to see her back in Bollywood, this came as a big news.
