Chhichhore Day 3 Box-Office: The Sushant Singh-Shraddha Kapoor Starrer Pockets 36 Crores On The First Weekend!

Sushant Singh Rajput and Sharddha Kapoor’s latest release, Chhichhore is going strong at the box-office. The film had been Sushant’s second biggest opener after M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story and thanks to the positive reviews, the collections strengthened on Day 2, i.e., Saturday. The Day 3 numbers are even more heartening.

On Day 3, the numbers showed a jump, signifying that the film is trending quite well at the box-office. On Sunday, the film collected 16.41 crores compared to 12. 25 crores on Saturday. The total collection now stands at 35.98 crores.

For a mid budget film, this is actually very good collection. In fact, not just multiplexes of Tier 1, but Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities too are loving the film. Just like the film turned to be the second highest opener for Sushant, it has the second highest weekend numbers, after M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. It has significantly better collection than Sushant’s last release, Kedarnath and even the YRF biggie, Shuddh Desi Romance.

Chhichhore is a story about 6 friends- the losers who recount their college days to prove that more than winning, it is the fight that counts. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor along with Varun Sharma, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Naveen Polishetty, Tushar Pandey, Suharsh Kumar Shukla and Prateik Babbar in key roles.
