Relatable – Unlike other movies on homosexuality, this is the first time Bollywood is going full-on commercial with the concept. We can all imagine what an average Indian parent’s reaction would be to facing such realities and the film paints exactly that picture in the trailer making it digestible.

Performances – With a promising cast, one can be rest assured that acting is a department where Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisha Laga will not fail us. The concept of the film makes it crucial that the stars do their job right and seeing Rajkumar Rao who plays a supportive friend, Anil Kapoor who plays a doting father and Sonam Kapoor who plays a shy woman in love, assures us that the film will be worth it.

Music – The music of the film with all its songs has not failed us so far. Soft and soothing seems to be the flavor of the jukebox and its suits perfectly with what we see in the trailer. Even remakes to iconic songs like Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga or Gur Nal Ishq Meetha don’t seem jarring and that very fact draws us in further.
