Good Newwz Day 8 Box-Office: Film Collects 136 Crores In India And 200 Crores Worldwide, Karan Johar Shares A Heartfelt Note!

Good Newwz seems to have proved yet again that Akshay Kumar indeed has a Midas touch. All his four releases of the year are amongst the top grossing films of 2019. Good Newwz, that also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh, is unstoppable even as it entered the second week.

On its second Friday, the film has maintained its pace and collected  8.10 crore. It was for the first time that the film got a single digit collection. The box-office total now stands at a great 136 crores. By the end of the second weekend, the film will cross 150 crores!

That’s not all, the film has also grossed over 200 crores worldwide. This is especially happy news not just for the actors but also for producer Karan Johar. In fact, he took to social media and wrote a heartfelt message. He wrote, “That feeling of pride when a group of solid minds come together to make a cracker of a film! A film that is as we speak crossed the 200 crore gross mark worldwide and Besides the box office has garnered so much love and cheer in the cinemas.” He then thanked everyone who had been associated with the film.
