Kabir Singh Box-Office Day 20: The Film Surpasses The Collection Of Uri, Emerges As The Highest Grosser Of The Year!

The goal that Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh was eyeing so far was to overtake Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike at the box-office and become the highest grossing film of 2019 so far. Well, Kabir Singh has to find a new benchmark to surpass now as it has now collected more than Uri, that too before its completion of the third week at the box-office.

The film collected a record 3.11 crores on Wednesday, i.e. on its Day 20, taking the total collection to 246.28 crores and overtaking the 245 crore grossing Uri.

The film is now an all time blockbuster and the 10^th highest grossing Hindi film. It is also the highest grossing film of the year and Akshay Kumar’ Kesari and Salman Khan’s Bharat have not been able to create the magic that Kabir Singh has.

The film will also easily cross the 250 crore mark by Friday. But since Hrithik Roshan is coming back on-screen after 2 years with Super 30, the biz might just slow down.
