Mumbai Saga Box-Office Day 3: John Abraham- Emraan Hashmi Starrer Sees A Growth, Collects Rs. 8.74 Crores On The First Weekend

Mumbai Saga released on Friday 19th. The Sanjay Gupta film has Emraan Hashmi and John Abraham locking horns. Given their star power, trade analysts believed that the film would do well. However, the collection on the first two days had been low. But, looks like the film has finally picked up the pace on Day 3, thereby pocketing a good weekend collection.

Mumbai Saga's Sunday collection saw a significant jump. The film collected a good Rs. 3.52 crores on Day 3 compared to Rs. 2.40 crores on Saturday. The total collection of the film went up to Rs. 8.74 crores on the first weekend.

The collection on Saturday had left many worried since despite being a partial holiday, the collection was less than that of Friday's. The film has also collected lesser than last week's Roohi, which managed to pocket a good Rs. 12 crores approx on the first extended weekend (the film released on Thursday). Given the trend, it looks like Mumbai Saga would probably collect the same amount, of around Rs. 12 crores, in the week. The recent surge and the increasing number of coronavirus cases might be a reason for the lesser footfalls. What do you think would be the film's total collection? Ket us know in the comments.
