    Sooryavanshi box office: The Akshay Kumar film inches closer to the 100 crore club with impressive Monday collections

    Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty with their debut partnership on Sooryavanshi have managed to bring the Bollywood box office back to life. The film which is the latest addition to the filmmakers coveted cop universe has had a phenomenal run over the weekend after Diwali and it did incredible business on its first Monday too.

    Sooryavanshi which is expected to continue its dream run this week too on Monday has collected approximately Rs. 14 crores according to Box Office India. While action extravaganza did a business of well over 20 crores on each day since its release on Friday, November 5, the dip on a week day was expected.

    The Monday figures bring up the tally of Sooryavanshi to a handsome Rs. 91 crores approximately, Rs. 77 crores in which were collected by the film over the weekend. With no competition from Bollywood this Friday, Sooryavanshi’s dominance is expected to continue till the release of Bunty Aur Bubli 2 on November which will be the next theatrical release.

    The cop drama has already breached the Rs. 100 crore mark at the box office worldwide and is not far from entering the Rs. 100 crore club based on collections in India.

    After the theatres, Sooryavanshi will arrive on Netflix just a few weeks later. The movie also stars Katrina Kaif and has Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn making cameo apperences.
