Sooryavanshi Day 3 Box-Office: Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty's film creates dhamaka, earns over 77 crores on first weekend

Sooryavanshi's dream run seems to be continuing in full glory. The Rohit Shetty film, which has Akshay Kumar in the lead, had a solid opening on Friday and despite limited capacity in many states, including Maharastra that is the biggest contributor to the film's biz, Sooryavanshi managed to collect over 26 crores. And now, the first-weekend collection of the film is out. And it proves that this cop drama is an absolute winner.

On Day 3, i.e., on Sunday, the film collected its highest so far. It minted a whopping 26.94 cr INR on Sunday. It was higher than the first day collections of 26.29 cr INR. Together with the Day 2 collection of 23.85 cr INR, the first-weekend box-office of Sooryavanshi now stands at 77.08 cr INR.

Well, as we said before, given the curtailed occupancy, this is a huge number. Had everything been normal, this would have translated to a 100 crore breaching number. However, the film truly proved to be a winner and has been successful in bringing back the audiences to the theatres. The film will definitely reach the 100 crore mark by the end of it's first week.
